Pita Gyro
$10.49

Chino, California · Since 1969
Andy Poulos was born in Greece and opened the first Andy’s in Ontario in 1969. Today the gyro and the char-grilled burger sit on the same menu, on Riverside Drive.
The family
Andy Poulos, born in Greece, opened the first Andy’s in Ontario in 1969 — it is still open. His son-in-law George has run the business for more than forty years and opened the Chino location in the 1980s. George and Georgia’s sons, Evangelos and Andreas, run the new building on Riverside Drive today.

The building
The building at 4616 Riverside Drive sits directly across from the original. It has a drive-through, floor-to-ceiling windows, mid-century furnishings, and two kitchens — one for the drive-through, one for the dining room and patio.
“We want to support the Chino community with a bigger location, and faster service now with the drive-through.” Evangelos Sotiropoulos, Champion Newspapers
